Rowe resigns from RSL

NSW RSL president Don Rowe is stepping down from the role because of health problems just five months out from the centenary of the Gallipoli landings.
Mr Rowe has been at the helm for 11 years.
"I am especially saddened to relinquish my duties at this time," the 66-year-old said in a statement.

"The RSL will celebrate its centenary in 2016, and these next few years will be so significant for the veteran community."
