Reward for man's killer renewed

Police are renewing a $100,000 reward for information about a man who was dragged behind his delivery van and killed in 2006.

Kok On Chin, 33, was dragged along the ground before being run over by two thieves who had stolen his van while he and a colleague were delivering furniture at Peakhurst in October 2006.

"He ran to the van and held onto an open window in an attempt to stop the van," police said.

Almost eight years later inquiries into Mr Chin's death continue.

"Despite extensive investigations into the matter, police have been unable to identify those involved."

On Monday a $100,000 reward for information was renewed.

Soon after the incident the van was found dumped with its undelivered furniture in nearby Riverwood.

Forensic examiners in 2006 tested the van for fingerprints and DNA and witnesses told police the thieves were aged between 20 and 30 years.
