Replica gun pulled on Sydney man

A man has been arrested after allegedly threatening a group of people with a replica handgun outside a licensed venue in Sydney's south.

Police say the 21-year-old approached a 20-year-old and his friends in Cronulla on Friday night in company with two other men, brandishing the replica gun and then following the group to the venue.

Security staff intervened and the man left before being arrested shortly after.
