More bikies arrested over Sydney shooting

Three more bikie members have been arrested for allegedly shooting an associate outside their clubhouse, following the arrest of a senior member of the Rebels motorcycle gang.

Two men, aged 24 and 25, were charged on Tuesday with discharging a firearm with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and participating in a criminal group.

A 37-year-old man is also in custody after police stopped his car at Penrith.

Earlier in the day, a senior member of the gang, 39, was arrested for the July shooting of a 33-year-old Rebels member at the gang's Mt Druitt chapter clubhouse in Minchinbury.

Police say that after being shot three times in the leg, the man attempted to flee but was chased down by three men and attacked as he lay on the road.

Police and emergency services were called and the 33-year-old was taken to hospital.

The 24- and 25-year-old men were refused bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court on Wednesday.
