Qld cops arrest 19 in drugs, weapons raids
Police raids near Brisbane have resulted in the arrest of 19 people, along with the alleged discovery of drugs, counterfeit cash and guns.
Detectives targeting a syndicate dealing methylamphetamine and weapons in the Ipswich area charged the men and women with 369 offences following 19 raids over the past two days.
Officers also seized 19 firearms, including hunting rifles and a double-barrel shotgun.
Methylamphetamine, cannabis, GHB, $16,000 in cash and a large amount of counterfeit currency were also discovered.
A 36-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman were among those arrested.
They were charged with possession, supply and trafficking methylamphetamine.
The Ripley man was also charged with the supply, possession and trafficking of weapons.
They're due to reappear in the Ipswich Magistrates Court later this month.
