Possible repeat sex attacker in Sydney

Two brazen indecent assaults on women within one week in Sydney's northwest have prompted concerns a repeat offender is on the loose.

A man grabbed a woman from behind and indecently assaulted her, before trying to drag her into a bush in Epping on Monday night. Another woman was indecently assaulted the week before on Tuesday night in a similar attack, but both escaped without serious injury.

"Having two attacks in the space of one week in the same vicinity is obviously of concern to us," Superintendent John Duncan told reporters on Tuesday.
