Puppy saved after falling into drain and swimming through pipes in Sydney

A six-week-old toy poodle puppy named Rev has been rescued after falling into a drain in Londonderry, Sydney.

After falling the puppy continued moving around the pipes before his owner realised he was missing around bed time.

Owner BJ Biggs heard cries for help coming from the drain and called firefighters to come rescue Rev.

“I don’t know how he did it. He’s gone down into water and managed swim up an S-bend and get into the main pipe,” she said.

Rev was rescued safely and was not injured.
