Two men arrested following police pursuit in Sydney

Two men have been arrested this morning after police pulled over an allegedly stolen car and chased another through Sydney’s south-west.
The men were pulled over in a red Toyota Corolla on Moorebank Avenue in Moorebank about 8.30am AEDT, after police noticed the vehicle was allegedly stolen.
A 21-year-old man was arrested by police and taken to Liverpool Police Station.
Following his arrest, police attempted to stop another car with the Corolla – a Toyota Landcruiser – which promptly sped off.
It’s alleged the pursuit ended after the Landcruiser stopped on the Hume Highway in Bass Hill, with the passengers fleeing on foot.
A 19-year-old man was arrested a short time later on Beatrice Street in Bass Hill. He was taken to Bankstown Police Station.
