Police escapee nabbed in NSW central west

A man who escaped police custody while being moved into a caged truck in central western NSW has been found still in handcuffs.
Gary Charters, 36, made his daring dash outside Forbes police station on Thursday night and ran into a nearby park.
He was arrested in Regent Street, Forbes on Saturday and charged with escaping lawful custody. He has been refused bail to appear in Parkes Local Court on Sunday.
