Pedestrian killed in Sydney crash

A pedestrian has died after being hit by a car in inner Sydney.

The 60-year-old man was crossing Pyrmont Bridge Road on Thursday morning when he was hit by a car driven by a 19-year-old woman travelling west.

The man was treated by paramedics at the scene before being taken to St Vincent's Hospital, where he died a short time later.

The woman was uninjured and was taken to Sydney Hospital for mandatory blood and urine tests.
