Officer charged over domestic assault

A NSW police sergeant attached to a specialist unit has been charged over alleged domestic assaults from 2006 and 2014.
The police officer was issued a future court attendance notice for common assault, intimidation, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
The alleged incidents occurred on Sydney's Northern Beaches. The officer is set to appear at Downing Centre Local Court on October 27.
