NSW woman dies after being hit by car

A woman run down by a car in Sydney's southwest has died in hospital.
The 59-year-old was walking across Railway Parade in Cabramatta on Saturday afternoon when she was hit by a Toyota Camry and suffered serious head injuries.
She was taken to Liverpool Hospital in a critical condition, but died overnight.

The driver, a 63-year-old man, was not injured and underwent mandatory drug and urine testing.
Police are appealing for witnesses.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
