NSW woman charged with stabbing ex-husband
A woman has been charged after allegedly stabbing her ex-husband in the chin, neck and shoulder on Sydney's lower north shore.
Police say the 38-year-old man was stabbed when he went to the Neutral Bay home of the 35-year-old woman to pick up their four-year-old son on Thursday afternoon.
He was taken to Royal North Shore Hospital where he underwent surgery and remains in a stable condition.
After being treated at the same hospital for minor facial injuries the woman was charged with recklessly causing grievous bodily harm.
She was granted conditional bail to appear at Downing Centre Local Court on September 9.
The boy was cared for by family overnight but police say Department of Family and Community Services may be brought in.
