NSW woman charged over teen racial attack

A 34-year-old woman has been charged after allegedly punching a teenage girl in the face and racially abusing her on a train in Sydney's west.
A 15-year-old, who is described of being of Asian descent, was on a train from Parramatta to Lidcombe with friends on Monday afternoon when she was verbally and racially abused.
As the woman left the train, police allege she grabbed the girl and hit her across the face several times.

Following inquiries, a 34-year-old Bidwill woman attended Mr Druitt police station on Wednesday and was charged with common assault.
She is due to face Burwood Local Court on July 28.
