NSW teens allegedly rob elderly woman
AAP
A 75-year-old woman has been dragged along the ground at a shopping centre after refusing to relinquish her handbag to teenage bag-snatchers on the NSW south coast.
The 16-year-old and 13-year-old culprits attempted to take the bag on Tuesday at Warrawong but found the elderly lady tougher than anticipated and a struggle ensued, police say.
The pair eventually got their hands on the bag and fled, only to be arrested by police later in the day.
