NSW teen driver charged over mate's death

A teenage driver has been charged over the death of his 17-year-old mate after he wrapped his car around a power pole on the NSW Central Coast last year.
The 17-year-old driver was driving at Wamberal when he swerved off the road and crashed into a power pole in July last year, killing his 17-year-old male passenger and seriously injuring a 16-year-old boy.
The driver has been charged with two offences including dangerous driving occasioning death.
