NSW teen charged after man hit at party

A NSW teen allegedly belted another man in the head with a club at an 18th birthday party, leaving the victim fighting for his life.
Police arrested the 19-year-old male on Sunday afternoon after they were called to the party in Frederickton, north of Kempsey, on the state's mid-north coast.
The 19-year-old is alleged to have hit the man, 26, in the head with a club during a fight, police said.

The victim was taken by paramedics to hospital and has since been airlifted to John Hunter Hospital, where he remains in a critical condition.
The 19-year-old has been charged and refused bail to appear before Kempsey Local Court on Monday.
