NSW teacher facing extra child sex charges

A NSW school teacher already accused of indecently assaulting young boys now faces more than 30 charges after police charged him with additional offences.

The 30-year-old, who worked at a southwestern Sydney school, was first charged with 14 offences in September before detectives from Strike Force Verletta laid another 15 charges the following month.

On Thursday, police revealed the man had been hit with another five charges, including procuring a child under 14 and possessing child abuse material.

The man, who allegedly exchanged unrelated child abuse material with another man, remains in custody and will appear in Campbelltown Local Court on March 1.
