NSW rebels member faces fraud charges

A Rebels bikie gang member in Sydney has been charged with alleged mortgage fraud worth almost $1 million.
Police allege the 26-year-old man, part of the Burwood chapter of the Rebels, used fraudulent documents to obtain a $920,000 loan to purchase a property in August 2016.
He was arrested at South Wentworthville on Thursday after a six-month police investigation and was due to appear at Parramatta Local Court on Thursday.
