Power restored to southern Sydney
AAP
Power has been restored to about 39,000 homes and businesses in Sydney's south.
Customers in areas including Cronulla, Sutherland, Kirrawee and Caringbah had their power restored on Friday afternoon after a fault on a major powerline cut electricity earlier in the day.
Sutherland Local Court, one of many affected by the power failure, had to adjourn cases to a later date.
