A man has been charged after he allegedly bit a police officer while resisting arrest at a Sydney train station.

Police say they tried to stop the 23-year-old man and a woman who used the disabled barrier at Kings Cross train station to access the platform.

The man walked away from officers and became aggressive when they confronted him.
