NSW mum discovers son groomed for sex

A man has been charged after the mother of a teenage boy allegedly discovered her son was being groomed for sexual activity south of Port Macquarie in NSW.
Police allege the 13-year-old's mother discovered a sexual conversation on his mobile phone last month and alerted police, who on Thursday arrested a 46-year-old man at Dunbogan.
The man, who allegedly organised to meet the boy for sexual activity, has been refused bail to face Port Macquarie Local Court on Friday charged with procuring a person under 16 for sexual activity.
