NSW mum dies after being run over by son

A NSW woman has died after being accidentally run over by her son.

Police say two cars had pulled over on the side of the road and the 45-year-old woman was standing near her 25-year-old son's car when it moved and hit her. She died at the scene.

Police are continuing investigations into the accident which happened on the side of a Dripstone road, near Wellington, in central western NSW just after 7am on Monday.
