NSW man stabbed in chest, woman charged

A man has undergone emergency surgery after a suspected domestic-related stabbing on Sydney's lower north shore.

Police found the 45-year-old man with a wound to his chest after receiving reports of arguing at a Lane Cove unit block about 10.45pm on Friday.

A 26-year-old woman was arrested at the scene and has been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

She was given strict conditional bail to appear before Hornsby Local Court on Tuesday.
