A man risks losing vision in one eye after being assaulted outside a Sydney hotel.
The 45-year-old was approached by another man in the outside smoking area at the McMahons Point hotel around 7pm on Tuesday where he was assaulted in an unprovoked attack, police say.
He's since had surgery to treat possible vision loss in his left eye.
