NSW man dies in farm accident

A farmer has died after becoming trapped under a piece of harvesting machinery on a property in central west NSW.

The 57-year-old man went to slash paddocks on his Cowra farm at about midday on Thursday, but failed to return home.

His partner found his body trapped underneath the equipment just before 7pm.
