A man has been charged over a drive-by shooting outside a Wollongong home on the weekend.
Police say the 29-year-old man threw a small firebomb onto the driveway of a home on Meadow Street, Balgownie at 7am on Sunday, fired a shot into the air and drove off.
His vehicle was found soon after crashed into a fence in a nearby suburb, with police seizing a sawn-off rifle and ammunition from inside the car.
