NSW man charged for attempted bestiality

A man has been charged after he allegedly exposed himself to two women and assaulted one of their dogs in Sydney's west last month.

The pair were walking their dogs on the Canal Walkway in Greystanes on August 9, when they were approached by a man who exposed himself and attempted to commit bestiality, police said.

The 39-year-old man was arrested and charged on Monday with attempted bestiality and act of indecency.

He's in police custody and is due to face Fairfield Local Court on Tuesday.
