NSW man accused of sex assault of girl

A 13-year-old girl has allegedly been sexually assaulted in the NSW Southern Highlands by a man she met online.
Police began investigating the alleged assault in June and on Thursday arrested the 20-year-old at a home at Moss Vale.
It's alleged the man met the girl online when she was 12. The pair met in person a number of times between June and December 2018, with the girl sexually and indecently assaulted during those meetings.

The man is now facing a string of charges including three counts of sexual intercourse with a person aged between 10 and 14 and three counts of indecent assault of a person under 16.
He was refused bail and is due to appear at Moss Vale Local Court on Friday.
