NSW long weekend fire danger high
AAP
Extraordinarily dry conditions across NSW have firefighters bracing for a high danger long weekend.
A dry winter and warm weather means experts are urging people to consider the risks they may encounter and have an escape plan handy.
People travelling this long weekend need to be aware of the dangers present with a heightened risk in bushland areas, an RFS spokesman told AAP on Friday.

"It is still extraordinarily dry," he said.
While there are no total fire bans expected, fire danger is high especially along the state's coastline.
Firefighters have already been called to more than 2500 fires this month.
