WHAT THEY SAID

"It's a long way from their boasts in January that they were just never going to talk about me ... I detect they're a bit worried," - Foley on hearing that the NSW Liberal Party were distributing pamphlets depicting him as the Joker in the pack.

"The message was, `We've changed. We've completely changed.' Yeah, right." - Baird on Labor's reform claims.

TODAY'S PROMISES

Govt:

- $678 million over four years to create 150,000 new jobs.

- $250,000 to set up 25,000 technology industry scholarships.

- $76 million to scrap public patients' co-payments for highly specialised drugs.

- Extension of the energy rebate scheme.

- $20 million to create up to 45,000 new before- and after-school care places.

- Early rollout of the National Disability Insurance Scheme to young people in Penrith and the Blue Mountains.

- $22.8 million to improve support for mothers with post-natal depression.

Labor:

- $3 million over three years to help three Sydney pharmacies stay open 24 hours a day.
