NSW in bid to boost Aboriginal languages
AAP
More than $159,000 in NSW government grants will be handed out across the state to help stop Aboriginal languages dying out.
The Our Languages, Our Way grants will go towards six projects designed to help more people learn, practice and teach Aboriginal languages, as well as develop dictionaries and videos.
From workshops to immersion camps, Aboriginal Affairs Minister Leslie Williams says she hopes the grants inspire a new generation of speakers.
