NSW hitchhiker escapes from pervert
AAP
A 22-year-old hitchhiker has escaped the clutches of an older man who made sexual advances towards him in a car in NSW's Blue Mountains.
Police say the younger man took up an offer of a lift in on Saturday afternoon and asked to be let out when he reached Gang Gang Street in Katoomba.
The driver refused to stop and held the younger man against his will for several hours. The 22-year-old eventually hit the driver and fled when the car slowed down.
