NSW girls caught after alleged robbery

Two teenage girls accused of holding up a service station armed with knives in the NSW Riverina region have been arrested and charged.
The 17-year-old girls are alleged to have threatened and assaulted an attendant, but they left the scene empty-handed in Wagga Wagga at about 7.45pm on May 4, NSW police say.
The girls - one charged with attempted robbery whilst armed and the other with being a principal to armed attempted robbery - were arrested on Friday and will face the Children's Court on Saturday.
