A man will face court after a luxury car was vandalised and sprayed with anti-Muslim graffiti in Sydney's west.

The Audi 4WD, which was parked outside a house on Johnson Street at Bass Hill, was found on Tuesday covered in offensive graffiti such as "F*** off Arab Muslim s***" and "leave ours alone".

Its windows were also smashed and its tyres slashed.

Milad Omar, a business manager at the nearby Queen Street Group car repair centre in Revesby, shared photos of the damaged vehicle in a Facebook post.

"Whoever did this i hope you have a good look at what you've done, as humans we pity you. To the owner of this car, we apologize on behalf of humanity that there are people like this out there," the post said.

Mr Omar told AAP there was about $40,000 worth of damage to the $100,000 Audi Q7.

"The windows had been smashed, the wheels had been slashed and the car's been kicked in in several places as well," he said.

A 55-year-old man was arrested at a home on the same street on Tuesday night, a police spokesman told AAP.

He has been charged with destroying or damaging property and granted conditional bail to appear at Bankstown Local Court next month.

The vehicle has been taken by police for forensic testing.
