A bride-to-be who's due to walk down the aisle on Saturday has gone missing in the NSW Riverina district.

Stephanie Scott, 26, who is a high school teacher was last seen at her workplace, Leeton High School, at 11am on Easter Sunday, police say.

Her fiance Aaron Woolley, also from Leeton, has appealed to the community to help find her.

"It's really out of character," Mr Woolley told Fairfax Regional Media.

"We're really worried. (Someone) said they saw her at Woolworths around 1pm on Sunday, but no one has seen or heard anything since.

"We just want her to be okay," he said.

The pair is due to be married on Saturday, the ABC reported.

Police say Ms Scott, who teaches English and drama, may be travelling in a red Mazda 3 sedan with registration BZ-19-CD.
