New South Wales boy dies after being hit by car

A 10-year-old boy getting off a school bus has been hit by a car and killed outside his home on the far south coast.

The boy was attempting to cross the road after getting off the bus that stopped outside the property in Cobargo on Monday.

He was hit and suffered fatal head injuries.
