NSW boy, 7, critical after quad bike crash

A seven-year-old boy is in a critical condition after a quad bike injury near Griffith in NSW.
About 12.30pm on Sunday, the boy was riding the bike with another boy, nine, on a property on Irvin Road, Barellan, east of Griffith. Police have been told the pair took a turn when they fell off the bike, which then fell onto the younger boy.
He was airlifted to Canberra Hospital, where he remains critical.
