Baby found unconscious in bath in Sydney's west

A baby has been rushed to hospital in western Sydney after being found unconscious in a bath.

Emergency workers were called to a Birch Street home in North St Marys just after 10am today.

Police say the eight-month-old was taken to Nepean Hospital and is in a serious but stable condition.

Police are investigating the circumstances.
