A third man has been charged over the death of Jacob Munro, two months after his body was found in a bush grave in a NSW forest.

Police arrested a 25-year-old man in Young in the Riverina region on Monday, three days after two men, aged 21 and 68, were charged in relation to the murder.

Mr Munro, 24, was reported missing from Schofields in Sydney's west last July.

Police found his body in the Bulahdelah State Forest in December - about 250km from where he was reported missing.

On Friday homicide detectives arrested a 21-year-old at his Lake Munmorah home, which had previously been searched by police, on the Central Coast.

He was charged with murder, while a 68-year-old man was charged with accessory after the fact to murder.

The 25-year-old man will face Cootamundra Local Court on Monday.
