Mundine to advise SA on prisoners

Indigenous leader Warren Mundine will lead a new advisory panel designed to reduce criminal reoffending rates in South Australia.

Police Minister Peter Malinauskas has asked the panel to help reduce the number of people who return to prison by 10 per cent by 2020.

"I make no apologies for setting an ambitious target but I think it is one that can be achieved," he told reporters on Thursday.
