Man dies after car crashes into tree in NSW's Central West

A 19-year-old man has died after his car crashed into a tree in NSW's Central West overnight.

Emergency services were called when drivers saw the crashed car on Lue Road, 5km from Mudgee, about 8.45pm last night.

"The driver and sole occupant of the SUV, a 19-year-old man, had died at the scene," NSW Police said in a statement.

A crime scene was established.

A report is being prepared for the coroner.
