Motorcyclist killed in three-vehicle smash

A motorcyclist has died in a horror three-vehicle smash near Scone, in the NSW Hunter region.

The man died early on Tuesday morning after his motorcycle, a ute and a white Laser hatchback collided at an intersection on the New England Highway, police say.

The motorcyclist died at the scene and the other two male drivers were taken to hospital for mandatory testing.
