Police find teen missing in Sydney for nearly a week

Police have found a teenage boy from Sydney's west, who was missing for nearly a week.

The 13-year-old was last seen April 3 at Constitution Hill, a suburb about 28 kilometres west of the city.

Police had concerns for his welfare due to his young age, and had made an appeal to the public.

"Following extensive inquiries and a public appeal, the boy was located by police in Toongabbie about 11am today," police said.

"Police would like to thank the public and media for their assistance."

Police describe the teen as being of Caucasian appearance, 153cm tall with a thin build, short red hair and he wears glasses."

The teen was last seen wearing grey track suit pants, grey jacket, and Asics-brand shoes.
