A military aircraft has circled above the Sydney CBD during a WWII commemorative flyover.
A Royal Australian Air Force C-27J Spartan took to the air about 11.30am on Friday as part of a service at Martin Place marking 77 years since the Battle of Britain.
Fourteen Australians lost their lives in the three-month long aerial Battle of Britain in 1940, during which England's air force mounted a successful defence against the German Luftwaffe.
