Melb bikie busted with drugs in Sydney
A Melbourne bikie has allegedly been caught in Sydney with more than 20 kilograms of ecstasy worth $2.8 million stashed in the boot of a Jaguar.
The 28-year-old Comanchero was stopped at Yagoona in Sydney's west on Monday evening and police say they found thousands of grey-coloured pills weighing 20.7kg hidden in large plastic buckets.
The man is due before Burwood Local Court on November 12, charged with supplying a large commercial quantity of a prohibited drug.
Meanwhile, a gang squad strike force targeting an amphetamine supplying syndicate in the Hunter region has seized more than a kilogram of drugs, $20,000 in cash and two sawn-off shotguns during raids at five properties in the area.
"The East Maitland clubhouse of the Gladiators outlaw motorcycle gang was also searched during (Tuesday's) operation," police said.
Three men have been arrested and are assisting police as the operation continues.
