Manslaughter charge over Queensland crash
AAP
A truck diver has been charged with manslaughter over a traffic crash that killed an 80-year-old in Brisbane.
Police, who charged a 32-year-old man with manslaughter on Thursday, earlier alleged a piece of metal attached to his truck's trailer may have struck another car travelling in the opposite direction and causing it to crash in May.
The elderly man behind the wheel of the car died at the scene, while the truck driver is expected to appear before the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Friday.
