Man attacked with tomahawk after argument between two families turns violent

A 20-year-old Sydney man has been attacked with a tomahawk axe during a fight between two neighbouring families.
It's alleged the assault in Burwood on Friday night happened when an argument turned physical.
The 20-year-old was hit in the shoulder blade with the axe and had to go to hospital.

A 24-year-old man has been charged with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and refused bail.
He will appear in court on Wednesday.
