A man has been charged with indecent assault and attempting to have sex with a 15-year-old girl in Sydney's west.
Child abuse detectives arrested the 56-year-old in Penrith on Thursday after investigating reports the girl had been indecently assaulted by a man she met through a friend in January.
The man was refused bail to appear at Penrith Local Court on Friday on multiple child sex offences, including four counts of attempting sexual intercourse with a child aged 14 to 16.
