Sydney man denied bail for Bondi stabbing

A Sydney man who allegedly stabbed another man to death outside a Bondi fast food shop has been refused bail.
Christian Hargrave-McKey, 30, was allegedly involved in an argument with Mark Thomas, 60, at Bondi Junction on December 22.
Police say both men stabbed each other.

Mr Thomas died at the scene despite the best efforts of police and paramedics.
Hargrave-McKey was taken to St Vincent's Hospital under police guard with a stab wound to his abdomen and was later charged with murder.
His matter was mentioned at Parramatta Bail Court on Friday where he did not apply for bail and it was formally refused.
He is expected before court again on January 7.
